Anam Cara: Spiritual Wisdom from the Celtic World

John O’Donohue is one of the people I wish I’d had the chance to meet. A dear friend of David Whyte’s, I can imagine the banter that would have been part of their meetings. I find it extraordinary to read the spiritual wisdom held in these pages and feel tremendous connection with the ancient Celtic reverence for the spirit in all things. Described by Deepak Chopra as ‘a rare synthesis of philosophy, poetry and spirituality’ I find myself returning to this book again and again.
