Ways to joyfully find our way home to richly connected lives.
These monthly sessions on Hampstead Heath are a counterpoint to busyness, disconnection and much else. A little medicine to help to heal our broken relationship with the more than human, ourselves and each other.
Drawing on The Work That Reconnects, Deep Ecology and Natural Voice, each two hour session will include invitations into some guided processes to nourish ourselves and Mother Earth.
The Winter series spans that precious time in the colder darker months when our instinct to rest and regenerate is so often overridden by the demands of the modern world. This series of three sessions includes the Celtic festival of Imbolc where we intentionally feed the beginnings of what will spring in the coming season, whilst honouring the need for rest, and connection to ourselves.
Our relationship with Nature (including all animals, our own nature and the wildness of trees) is foundational to climate breakdown and the messiness of these troubling times. This work is in and of itself deeply nourishing and can also fuel our outerwork and service in the world.
“We cannot protect something we do not love, we cannot love what we do not know, and we cannot know what we do not see. Or hear. Or sense.”
- Richard Louv

Accessibility: These sessions by their nature, typically go ‘off path’ and we acknowledge this will be a practical barrier for some (generally the sessions require being able to walk for ten minutes or so from the meeting point). If you would like to join one of these sessions but feel you need more information and/or you would like to discuss your access needs, please do get in touch. Adaptations can often be made and we will do our best to welcome you to this work.
